Bovey.Biz presents
The New Century Singers
of Bovey Tracey

The choir about to perform at St John's, Torquay (March 2007)

Welcome to the New Century Singers. We are a small friendly group of singers based in the Devon town of Bovey Tracey. We formed to sing both sacred and secular music to concert standard in churches and other venues for our enjoyment and also to help raise money for charity.

The group formed in 1999 under the direction of Wyn Turner and has already sung at a number of venues. (See Archives) We are therefore approaching our tenth year - Watch this space!...

We meet on Tuesday evenings at the Church Rooms of St Peter, Paul and Thomas, Bovey Tracey. Rehearsals are held during "terms" that roughly match the school terms. A small fee is charged to all members to cover expenses such as hall hire.

The Singers have an extensive programme of works detailed separately.

We welcome applicants to join us but we regret that at present we cannot accept any more sopranos.

Jo (above right) has moved on. With many thanks to Jo for her hard work with the Singers. We therefore welcome Anna our new accompanist who joined us in March.
